Course Counselling for the 2019 academic year will take place on Tuesday 28 August for all students in Years 8-11. There will be no scheduled classes on the day. Students will be required to attend an individual counselling session with their care group teacher to make subject selections for 2019. Parents/Caregivers are strongly urged to join their son/daughter in this important process. Bookings can be made on the . Once on this website you will need to:
1. Enter the event code cdhv6.
2. Enter your details in all the boxes on the screen ( You will need an email address)
3. Select your child’s Care group teacher.
4. Click in the box to book a time (bookings can be made between 11.00am and An email confirming your appointment time will be sent to you when you finish your booking.
PLEASE NOTE: THE PORTAL FOR MAKING BOOKINGS WILL BE OPEN FROM TUESDAY 31 JULY-TUESDAY 14 AUGUST. Information about organisation for the day will be sent home with students on Tuesday 31 July.
In the weeks leading up to course counselling day students will be involved in information sessions on subject selection and career and training pathways. If your son/ daughter would like to discuss Career pathways in the weeks leading up to Course Counselling please encourage them to make an appointment to have a conversation with me or alternatively discuss with their Care group teacher.
A South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and Regional Vocational Education and Training (VET) information night will be held on Tuesday 21 August, 6.30pm-7.30pm at Le Fevre High School. This information session aims to provide parents/caregivers with clarity around how SACE works, information about university and TAFE entry and how VET can be embedded into the SACE.
