As an introduction to Le Fevre High School we invite our new students to our Orientation Program for the 2019 enrolment. This Program will provide students with an understanding of the procedures and expectations of the school.

The Orientation Program will be held at Le Fevre High on Monday 3 December 2018.

On the Monday morning students are asked to assemble at the flagpole at the front of the school at 8.35am. Students will need to be in their Primary School uniform. They will then be escorted to the gymnasium where they will be placed in care groups and will meet some of the teachers they will be working with next year.

During the day, students will undertake ‘orientation activities’ to familiarise themselves with the school including: –

  • taking part in guided tours around the school
  • a range of ‘getting to know you activities’
  • taking part in lessons
  • having their ID photos taken

Recess and lunch can be brought from home or purchased from the school canteen.

Dismissal will be held at 3:15 pm. At the end of the day, students can be collected from the front of the school or can make their way home by bus or bike as agreed by parents. A bike rack is available, but students do need to lock their bikes at the rack for security.

We look forward to meeting you at the Parent Welcome Night, 6pm – 7pm on  3 December 2018. We will be providing an overview of expectations /addressing questions. You will be able to meet Care Group teachers and other students. Pizza and beverages will be supplied.

Please contact Mr Craig Bailey Transition Manager, Kylie Hill and Ty Duerden, Year 8 Coordinators, on 8449 7004 if you have any queries about the day.
