Engineering Edge is a unique subject offered through the Flinders University and Le Fevre High School Flinders Aligned Pathway. Le Fevre High School is the only school in South Australia offering this direct engineering pathway through a traditional SACE program, giving students an exciting opportunity to connect their Year 12 studies directly with university engineering.
Co-designed with Flinders University, Engineering Edge focuses on the core mathematics and problem-solving skills that provide a strong foundation for first-year engineering study at Flinders. Students develop the mathematical understanding, confidence and skills needed to make the transition from school to university engineering.
For students who successfully meet the requirements of the Flinders Aligned Pathway, Engineering Edge provides guaranteed entry to eligible Flinders University engineering courses. This creates a clear and supported pathway from Year 12 at Le Fevre High School into an engineering degree at Flinders University.
Engineering Edge is more than a Year 12 subject, it is your pathway to engineering at Flinders.
